Wearing Shalwar Kameez with Shalwar tucked inside Boots

Its quite a sight to see a Pakistani or an Indian lady wearing boots with her shalwar tucked inside them. It is quite commonly seen in cold places. At times its a necessity. Not only do boots protect a lady's feet from the cold, but it also protects her in case she decides to walk in a rough place with a lot of wild grass where there is danger of ants or snakes biting.

If going hiking or even in the fields, its preffered that a lady dons a heavy pair of atleast calf length boots. Lace up boots such as doc martens that cover 2/3rd's of a leg, which is above mid calf length, will prove to be the best choice for the occassion. Such boots with a steel toe, lugged thick hard sole, preferably with steel taps on sole for extra protection, will enable the lady to walk over literally anything with ease, comfort and without fear. Since the boots would be covering the shalwar, any thorns or stray pebbles and dust will have no effect on the shalwar, leaving it well protected. Its also recommended that a pair of heavy bootsocks be worn under the boots to provide maximum comfort for the feet. The bootsocks not only help with providing comfort and added cushioning, but also soak up any sweat. Its recommended that the boots be made of leather since leather breathes and shapes itself to the form of the foot, therefore providing even more comfort in the long term. The lugged sole of the boot will provide slip resistant protection in wet places allowing the lady to easily hike over rocks even. Ofcourse, being trousered in a soft shalwar, she would effortlessly and freely climb even high places, or even jump over them if she pleases to do so. The hard sole will also prove useful if any snake or venemous bug is encountered, which can would stand no chance under such a heavy sole. Having shalwar tucked inside the boot will also have the added advantage that no bug or insect can crawl over the surface of the long boot and drop inside it, since the shalwar would be slightly puffing out of the boot.

When tucking the shalwar inside a calf length boot, its recommended that it be tucked in as neatly as possible. This is very easy if a bootsock is worn and the shalwar tucked inside that first, and then then boot is worn over it. Not only does this keep the shalwar nicely tucked in the boots, but it also creates those lovely folds in the shalwar because of its soft fabric. If the kameez is 3 inches above knee, not exactly like a short kameez but a cross between normal and short kameez, which is well fitted then not only does this provide a beautiful contrast with the bends and folds in the shalwar compared to the smoothness and straightness of the kameez, but it also provides more comfort in the sense that it would be properly fitted.

When the shalwar is tucked inside the boots, it creates those certain bends and folds in the fabric. As the boots are high in length, covering 2/3rds of the leg of the lady, when she walks the shalwar's soft fabric will form little creases which will go away in an instant. The sight is just mesmerizing. The comibination of a soft shalwar with menacing looking heavy boots is just breathtaking, especially when they are wholly visible to the eye.

When walking in snow the feet of the lady would be totally protected from any cold as well as wetness. The heavy sole of the boot will flatten and crush any snow beneath her feet and if there is any heavy object in front, the steel toe will prove very useful in protecting her toes. The slip resistant sole will also prove useful as it will prevent slipping. Calf length lace up boots will be sufficiently high enough to protect against even 6 inches of snow, without any worry of getting the shalwar wet. If there are any sharp objects under the snow, or even loose pebbles, the boots being heavy with a wide sole will sufficiently protect the feet.

The laces of the boots not only help in fastening the boot securely to the foot but will also make the woman appear very domineering and confident. Anyone who watches her will know that even though she is wearing soft feminine shalwar kameez, with a dupatta, yet she is not to be messed around with as she has heavy boots on her feet which she can use to kick in order to defend herself if necessary. Indeed the steel toe boots would hurt a lot, anyone who is unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end. The laces would go inside the tongue of the boot in two places, upper and middle, to prevent the tongue of the boot from moving inside. If the lady has wide calves, laces prove extremely useful as its most zip up boots cannot fit on a the feet of such a lady. Therefore she can adjust the boot by fastening the laces according to the width of her calve.

A lot of policewomen in Pakistan dress up this way already, and with a reason indeed. Its suitable to dress like this for women in all walks of life. Even a housewife cleaning the kitchen, washing bathroom etc will find it useful to wear boots to protect her shalwar and her feet. Its also useful to wear such boots if a lady is out on a walk in the evening with her husband as any ants or snakes would not stand a chance under the heavy soles of her boots, if she plans to walk in grass, or even in the lawn of her house.

There are a lot of women of different cultures who wear boots. Most women in Pakistan don't because of hot climate, though it is quite noticable in colder areas of Pakistan where women do wear boots to protect themselves. Many women in UK wear boots with skirt and look gorgeous, and it would be perfectly fine for Pakistani women to don a pair of boots with their glamorous shalwar kameez.

Not only does shalwar kameez let a Pakistani woman exhibit a signature of Pakistani culture but its also comfortable and glamorous as well as preserving of modesty. Wearing boots is not at all culturally incorrect or wrong in any way, cause its still covering up her body. If anything, tucking a shalwar inside boots will only help in covering up better, since there would be no fear of shalwar hiking above calves accidently.

Boots magnify the beauty of legs and calves. If a lady is a bit on chubby side like most Pakistani ladies, her well-fed legs would appear not only modesty covered but even more shapely and mysterious. The upper calve would be pronounced where the boot ends and shalwar starts.

Donning a dupatta with shalwar kameez makes a lady look more culturally aware, and the boots on her feet provides the perfect contrast. The dupatta shows her as a soft, gentle creature while the boots exhibit her independance and confidence. In all, she would look like a rose with thorns. Beautiful, elegant, and with a 'look but dont touch' message.

If the lady ever wanted a her boots shined by a bootshining person outside, she would no long have to take her boots off or even raise her shalwar. She could just stand in front of the person, or her servant, as he shines her boots while her feet are encased inside.

In cold weather there is also an added advantage of having boots tucked inside the shalwar, that of air not getting inside the shalwar through the hems. This makes the shalwar even more warmer in cold weather, therefore allowing the lady to go about her chores more comfortably.

Another advantage of wearing shalwar kameez with shalwar tucked inside the boots is that if the lady ever needs to climb over something she can easily do that. That is another reason why policewomen to dress up in this fashion. Not only is it dangerous and unstable to climb over a wall or such in high heels, but the shalwar might also get entangled. If tucked inside boots the shalwar will remain nicely and securely in place. This can never be done in a sari or even a skirt.

If the lady decides to visit a friend who keeps pets, such as cats or dogs, then she won't have to fear any dog hairs getting on her feet. Dogs mostly have a habit of playfully rubbing against feet and calves. No hairs will get on the shalwar as it would be inside the boots. If a dog starts licking her feet she wouldnt have to worry about a thing as her feet would be safe inside her steel toe boots. Therefore she can sit and relax with her friend knowing that the dog or even a cat can cause her no possible harm because heavy boots are protecting her feet.

If a lady is tall and chubby, then dressed in this manner would make her look amazing. Supposing she is wearing yellow or pink silken shalwar kameez which has a tailored and fitted kameez that is just shy of 3 inches from her knees, with a slim yet comfortable fit shalwar, tucked into heavy steel toe boots that come upto 3 to 4 inches below her knees, and a dupatta loosely draped over her head. Moreover, being chubby and tall, dressed in this manner would make any man fall at her feet.

Pakistani and Indian ladies wearing Boots with Long Skirt

Wearing a long skirt with boots is highly appealing. The skirt does not have to be too long, even one that comes 4 inches below knee is good, infact its the perfect kind. Not only does it hide the upper legs, but it just covers the right amount of boot, leaving the rest of the boot visible to the eye. If the lady has meaty thighs, its even better, since such powerful calves help create that right balance between upper and lower body.

There are a lot of Pakistani and Indian ladies who chose to wear boots with skirt in foreign countries like UK. Not only does it help them dress outside of their traditional clothes, but it also provides them with that vital cultural element of covering up.

Knee length boots of any sort can be worn, but black leather boots are the classic type that goes with any dress. If the boots are with a zip, it gives that shiney appearance, however ones with buckles or harness boots are equally good. Even boots with laces are good, though they do tend to take quite some time lacing up.

Skirt of any sort can be worn, but for Pakistani and Indian ladies, I recommend that they wear a skirt with soft fabric, because soft fabric has a certain cultural element that would be relevant to them. Not only that, but soft skirts are usually more comfortable and they drape down better, which accentuates the body figure of the lady. The skirt should be about 3 to 4 inches below knee. This would help hide the upper legs like I said, and also show more of the boots, as well as allowing freedom of movement which would be restricted if the skirt was too long. If a skirt is too short, like a mini skirt, that also restricts the freedom of movement, since the lady would be constantly worried about adjusting it in case it hitches up too high, and if the short skirt is fitted, it would restrict the movement of her thighs.

Floral patterns on the skirt, and especially pink color, or any 'girly' color, makes the lady look even more feminine. If the skirt is worn as a seperate article of clothing, such as with a blouse on top, then it should be made sure that it is securely fastened around the waist. Using a belt is even better but not an absolute necessity.

Some skirts are quite heavy, especially those worn in winter, and when a lady decides to wear them with knee length leather boots with taps on leather sole of the boot, the 'weight' combined with the hardness of the sole tends to leave devestating effects on a soft floor. It also creates that certain sound of a lady walking confidently, so its highly recommended to wear heavy boots with a heavy skirt.

Ladies can even wear knee length lace up doc marten boots, the kind with thick lugged sole and steel toe, and pair them with their knee length skirt. When worn with a floral soft skirt, or with a sundress, it only helps bring out that contrast between the soft and feminine texture of clothing, and the heaviness and ruggedness of the boots. The sundress shows that the lady knows how to dress like a woman full of feminity, yet is full of confidence and is of dominant nature because of her choice of steel toed boots. It shows that she knows how to care and be gentle, yet at the same time she knows how to take care of herself and is willing to explore the world under her boots.

Donning a dupatta over the shoulders with a knee length dress and zip up leather boots shows that 'desi' element. It just looks spectacular. If the boots have a steel tap that goes right in front of the boots and is silver, it gives out that 'dont mess with me' message. It also protects the boots and if anything came in the way, it can easily be kicked away.

Stiletto heeled knee length boots with a soft knee length dress makes the hem of the dress move in that certain feminine manner, which accentuates not mid body and also creates an equilibrium between upper and lower body. Ladies with wide calves look especially good cause they obviously need wide calf boots that look highly intimidating with such a feminine dress. Wearing boots with a really sharp heel constructed from steel would leave nasty marks on wooden floor. They can also cause havoc if the lady accidently steps on someone else's foot. So she'd have to be rather careful while wearing them and see where shes stepping, but regardless, like I said they do look quite intimidating. Its recommended that such boots have a rubber sole on the front, even if the sole is of leather. Any good cobbler can fit a small strip of rubber which would prevent the lady from slipping accidently. Ofcourse if the lady decides to use a footrest while sitting on the sofa with her boots on, she should make sure she doesnt drag her sharp heel over the footrest or the fabric of the footrest might get torn.

Long skirt with boots has a certain appeal to it that can be seen even from far away. A skirt denotes feminity, and when paired with stiletto heeled boots, which are themselve a sign of feminity, it just makes the lady look more ladylike. The swishing and swaying of the skirt, combined with the clicking of the boots, is just breathtaking.

Pakistani Women wearing Doc Martin Boots with Shalwar Kameez

Doc Martin boots are a kind of combat boots which are a type of a work boot, which you usually wear doing manual work outside. Its a very rough and tough boot, designed to withstand the elements. With its hard rugged sole, and deep treads, and its steel reinforced toe cap, it provides a lot of protection for the foot. Usually these boots are calf length, that is about 16 holes or 18 holes. The best ones are usually about 16 hole doc martens, because they come upto 2/3rd of your calf, therefore providing maximum protection, while also giving room for upper calve muscles to move around. This is especially recommended for ladies with meaty or chubby legs. Not only do these boots enhance the shape of their lower leg, but also as I said, provide protection.

Wearing boots with shalwar kameez does indeed makes a woman look more beautiful. This is because, pairing heavy steel toe boots with soft clothing shows feminity on one side, and confidence on another.

Shalwar kameez being a dress that is extremely comfortble to wear, assures that the lady remains comfortable, looks elegent, preserves her modesty, but at the same time it enhances the body figure of the lady because of the soft fabric that outlines the shape of the body, and the texture of the fabric that is so appealing to the touch and eye. In shalwar kameez you can also move around easily, without worrying about being uncovered like you might fear while wearing a short skirt, or even a sari. You see, even a sari, although its a nice dress, has its flaws, in the sense that it restricts the woman, especially around thigh area, therefore she cannot run without hitching her sari with one hand. This just proves as an extra burden. With shalwar kameez, there is no such problem because its basically like pants and shirt, only more feminine looking. Therefore shalwar kameez gives a woman freedom to move around without fearing to be exposed so that she can maintain her modesty, and at the same time, it makes her look elegent and glamourous because of its soft fabric and fitting.

Donning heavy boots with shalwar kameez looks exceptionally good. The sight of steel toe boots under a soft shalwar is just amazing. The folds that form and go as the lady walks shows how soft the shalwar is, and how much comfort she is in. At the same time, the boots provide her with comforti in the sense that she can literally walk over anything she wants to. If a man bothers her, she can always use her steel toe boot to protect herself by kicking him hard. If she is in a place where there is fear of ants or snakes biting her feet, the boots will protect her. This is extremely useful while going hiking or walking in the moors since there is always the chance of an odd snake in such an environment. The hard lugged sole of such boots would prove fatal for any snake. Not only that, but her feet would be well protected from mud and dirt, and even any potential water. The deep lugged sole of the boot allows the lady to walk over literally anything without the fear of falling down. The traction is so good. As the sole is slip resistant, therefore even walking on wet stones is not a problem.

Ive noticed quite many ladies in Pakistan, usually from upper-class, wearing these kind of boots while going hiking. They usually do this to lose weight, I suppose because of the monotonous lifestyle of the rich ends up with them being a bit on the chubby side. Wearing shalwar kameez with boots not only gives such ladies the comfort in their clothes but also accentuates their figure as they're usually on the chubby side. Sometimes these ladies are accompanied by their maids, however the maids are not fortunate enough to afford such boots and are usually seen in their slippers. Some ladies chose to wear sneakers while going on a hike but this is not as efficient as wearing steel toe boots. There is always the risk of a sharp object on the path, such as a nail, which could go right through the sneaker sole, but not through a boot.

Its also much easier to drive a car in these boots. A lot of Pakistani women chose to wear sandals or high heels with their shalwar kameez, but driving in them is not right. With boots, especially calve length ones, not only is the boot securely fitted on the leg of the lady but also proves beneficial in the sense that it has a solid slip resistant sole. Ofcourse it goes without saying that wearing a skirt or a sari while driving is not as comfortable as wearing shalwar kameez, since you are basically trousered, and thus have more freedom of movement.

It is also worth noting that whilst inside a house or while visiting someone, steel toe boots again prove beneficial that if, while crossing your legs for instance, your shalwar rises a bit, you have no need to pull the hem down and adjust it since the length of the high boot would cover most of the lower leg.

Women studying in universities and working in hospitals chose to wear such boots, and its indeed quite intelligent of them to do so. Travelling on a bus, anyone can step on your toes, but wearing steel toe boots will protect her toes. Ofcourse it would hurt a lot if the lady wearing such boots stepped on another persons foot in a crowded bus.

It goes without saying that wearing boots in winters is very necessary. I've noticed a lot of women in UK wearing boots cause of the cold. Even Pakistani and Indian ladies chose to wear boots under their traditional clothes. They not only protect from rain but also from occassional snow.

The importance of dupatta should not be overlooked at all. If anything it only helps in enhancing the beauty of a woman. Since its a loosely draped scarf that is very thin in material, and merely hung over the shoulder or carelessly draped over the head, it only helps in creating that 'mystery' element. Most Pakistani ladies are seen forever adjusting their dupatta over their head, which keeps slipping off, partially because of the soft material, and partially because of the soft hair. It is a very feminine article of clothing that not only helps in hiding the bosoms but also in exhibiting that signature Pakistani element in a lady that sets them aside from other muslim ladies in other countries. The sight of seeing a dupatta being flown away even by light wind is very pleasing. Since a kameez is designed to fit perfectly on upper body, big bosomed ladies who are slightly chubby are highly recommended to wear a dupatta.

The addition of a steel tap on the front of the boot under the toe and at the back of the heel provides even more protection. Ofcourse if a lady steps on anything wearing steel toe boots with taps, it would indeed leave it crushed to bits. But the point here is, that that lady would be provided with even more protection with the taps.

Having a bit of bees wax makes leather boots even more waterproof. The great thing about bees wax is that it is easily and cheaply available from anyone selling honey. Its all natural, its just a byproduct of honey, and rubbing it on leather sole not only makes it shiney, but also protects it from water. Moreover, it also conditions the leather. As a matter of fact, many good quality shoe polishes contain bees wax as a major ingredient.

With other articles of clothing such as a skirt or a sari, the balance between upper and lower body is lacking. Since a shalwar is slightly loose, it proves to balance the upper body, especially with chubby ladies. It infact, as a net result, makes them look slimmer. With a skirt, from far away, the flaring of the skirt, even slightly, offsets the balance with the lower body, especially calves. Although it can be remedied if a lady is wearing really tight skirt with big boots, especially if she has wide calves, but its not practical for most people.

When a lady sits down and crosses her legs, shalwar also beautifies the shape of her leg, especially upper leg. So, while covering her leg and maintaining her modesty, it also pronounces the shape. Combined with heavy boots, it only makes a lady look quite intimidating. Although ladies usually adjust the hem of their kameez over their thighs while sitting down, still, the beauty cant be hidden since the shape is always pronounced from the side of the leg. With a sari or skirt the figure hugging quality of pants is lost. With a shalwar combined with kameez, not only is the figure of lower body pronounced, but the long hem of the kameez helps in creating a 'mystery' element.

The hem of the kameez should never be below knees. Ideal length is 2 inches above knee. Not only does this allow more freedom of movement, but it also helps to create the mystery element for lower body by covering it appropriately. In addition, the long hem of the kameez, which has a slit on the side, helps beautify the thighs, which can be seen from side angle. Even if a lady has to do horse riding, the hem of the kameez will sufficiently hide her lower body just in the right places. Ofcourse it goes without saying that steel toe boots will only help move the horse better and stay in control as well if she chose to do horse riding.

Therefore it is highly recommended that women wear steel toed calve length boots with steel taps under the thick sole, with their shalwar kameez. The lady wearing such outfit would not only feel more confident, but also dominant. A housewife can easily go around doing her tasks without having to avoid bottom of tables / chairs / sofas so that her feet wont bang into it and she would get hurt. If anything, the steel toe would certainly hurt whatever her foot hits. Ladies working in farming fields in villages will also benefit from it. Every lady in all walks of life should have a pair of such boots to wear with her beautiful shalwar kameez.
